英語の文章（英文解釈）の質問なのですが、[It's a position that at some point is something that we have to talk about ,and if the U.S. keeps on its path , its current path of weakness ,........]　という文章がありました。Youtubeです。長谷川幸弘さんとおっしゃるジャーナリストのYoutubeでの画面です（NEWS チャンネル）。トランプ元大統領へのインタビューの部分だそうです。ですから、会話調なのだとは思いますが。

＞アットサムポイントというのはイディオムなんでしょうか。

そう思ったら辞書を引く。

副詞句だから、それを取り除くと、関係代名詞はこう。

that at some point is something that we have to talk about

ふたつ目の that も関係代名詞で、something を修飾する。

＞この場合のポジションとは、どういう意味でしょう。

＞議論から逃げずに対応しなければならない状況（ポジション）にあるということでしょうか。

変なところで文章を切り取るから訳が分からなくなる。
